The Alfen charging station must be protected against overloads, short circuits and insulation faults thanks to a type A differential to be placed in the electrical panel. Thanks to the DC leakage current detector integrated into the terminal, there is no need to install an expensive type B differential in the electrical panel upstream.

Safety

The Alfen Eve ProLine terminal is CE and ISO9001 certified and complies with all European safety directives. The terminal blocks the cable during charging, and only releases it when the current no longer flows through it.

In addition, the terminal is equipped with a DC leakage detector, so there is no need to install an expensive type B residual current circuit breaker upstream. A standard type A differential is sufficient.

Activation by RFID card - optional

A RFID reader is incorporated into the terminal. The RFID card access functionality, then the terminal remains permanently locked, and is only activated if a valid RFID card is passed in front of the reader. To stop charging, the userpass your card over the reader again. New RFID cards can be registered via Alfen's ICU software.

Certified meter

The Alfen Eve S-Line terminals are equipped with a MID-certified energy meter, which complies with European calibration guidelines. This means that you can legally re-invoice the energy indicated by this meter, without the risk of legal problems.

Resistance and waterproofness

The Alfen terminal, with its IP55 and IK10 protection ratings, is weatherproof and shock-resistant and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Its protective cover made of glass fibre reinforced composite material is highly resistant to impacts and acts of vandalism.
