Hager Witty Start Three-Phase Charging Station: Ideal for Home or Business, Adjustable from 9 to 22kW, Secure Key Access

The Hager Witty Start three-phase charging station will find its place in your garage or business parking lot. The Hager Witty Start charging station is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation. You can choose to mount it on the wall or use a floor stand. Its T2S socket, lockable with a key, ensures secure access to the Type 2 connector. You can perform vehicle charging in mode 3.

The Hager XEVA100 cable support can be attached to the charging station or mounted on the wall.

Its charging power is adjustable between 9kW and 22kW in three-phase mode via programming. The adjustable power allows you to limit the charging power of your station according to the available power in your electrical installation.

With the TIC/CHP ENT electronic card module (XEVA200), the charging station can also integrate an automatic load shedding system via the TIC (customer tele-information), as well as a delayed start system or timer switch. It can adjust the charging power according to your installation and the most advantageous kWh rates. These options are compatible only with a Linky meter via wired connection (TIC Historical or TIC standard) or via TIC radio connection with the TRPS120 radio transmitter. This transmitter is to be connected to your Linky meter. (The electronic card is not included.)

In the single-phase version, the Witty Start charging station includes a 6 mA DC protection on the electronic card, replacing the expensive Type B protection function.

You can secure the charging with a key or choose open access.

The Hager Witty Start charging station is compatible with all vehicles.

In summary, the Hager charging station has two essential functions:

• Dynamic charging, with automatic load shedding of the station's power.
• Management of peak and off-peak hours. You automatically recharge during off-peak hours. However, you can manually start the charging by pressing the tactile part of the station located below the indicator light.

Required Electrical Protections in France

The following electrical protections are mandatory and must be installed on a dedicated line, with a cable section of 10mm² single-strand or 16mm² multi-strand, using only copper cables. Do not connect with copper-aluminum cables. A differential switch and a 40A circuit breaker are also required. These have been validated by electricians and IRVE experts and comply with French regulations:

• 40A Type A/HI 30mA differential switch (e.g., HAGER BDH440F)
  
• 40A 3-module circuit breaker, Curve D (e.g., HAGER NGT840)
  
• 230/415V current emission trip (recommended by HAGER) (HAGER MZ203) - optional
  

Additional Protection Recommended by HAGER

The HAGER MZ203 - 230/415 VAC current emission trip, also known as a current emission coil, is an additional safety feature, not mandatory, that complements the mandatory differential switch + circuit breaker duo to ensure complete electrical protection of your charging station.

The current emission trip is recommended by HAGER to optimize the safety of your electrical installation.

The MZ203 coil is placed just before the charging station's circuit breaker, and both form a block. The MZ203 coil is directly connected to the HAGER charging station on ports X1.2 and X0.1 of the station.
