The following electrical protections are mandatory, and must be installed on a dedicated line, with a cable cross-section of 10mm² single-strand or 16mm² multi-strand, using copper cables only. Do not connect with copper-aluminum cables. A circuit breaker and a 40A differential are also required. They have been validated by electricians and IRVE experts, and comply with current French regulations:

• 40A differential switch Type A 30mA (e.g. HAGER BDH240F) - included in the pack
  
• 40A C-curve circuit breaker (ex: HAGER MJT740) - included in the pack
  
• 230/415V current release (recommended by HAGER) (HAGER MZ203)

The HAGER MZ203 - 230/415 VAC current release, also known as a current release coil, , is an additional, non-mandatory safety device that complements the mandatory differential switch + circuit breaker duo, to ensure complete electrical protection of your charging station.

HAGER recommends the current release to optimize the safety of your electrical installation.

The MZ203 coil is placed just before the bollard circuit-breaker, and the two form a block. The MZ203 coil is connected directly to the HAGER terminal on ports X1.2 and X0.1 of the terminal.
