The dynamic load management module - WALLBOX Power boost single-phase clamp 100A allows you to dynamically manage the load of your single-phase Wallbox terminal according to the power available from your installation.

Compatibility

The PowerBoost is compatible with terminals Wallbox Copper single-phase, Pulsar PLus single-phase and Commander 2.

Example of use

For example, if you have a 40A single-phase installation at home, and you have connected your Wallbox Copper terminal to 32A single-phase on a dedicated line, then there is a good chance that your main circuit breaker will trip during a load, because your charging station will consume more than the available power.

The load management module will allow you to avoid this problem. It connects to the power supply of your board, and will measure in real time the total consumption of your home. The only setting to indicate to it is that of the amperage of your main switchboard, for example 40A here. The module will then make the difference between 40A and the current consumed, and will continuously supply the terminal with the maximum current available, without tripping the installation.

Thus, if your home consumes 17A, for example, then your terminal will be supplied with 23A (40-17). When your home consumes less, 5A for example, then the terminal will be supplied with 32A (40-5, but limited to 32A, maximum charging current of the terminal).
